Pepe Aguilar is one of the most influential creative leaders and cultural activists in U.S. Hispanic advertising. He is on the top-two list of most awarded creatives in U.S. Hispanic advertising, both in Cannes Lions 2019 and Effie Awards 2020. Campaigns such as Immigrant Songs and Hispanic Star led Pepe to be a guest speaker at the United Nations during Hispanic Leadership Summit 2019, as well as Cannes Lions Live 2020. He was also named Multicultural Guru by LatinSpots.
Pepe's work has been recognized with a total of 18 Cannes Lions across a variety of categories, including Activation, Creative Data, Health, Media, Mobile, Outdoor, Pharma, PR, Print, Promo, and a Grand Prix for Good shortlist, as well as 26 Effie Awards and many other international festivals.
He has performed as judge in Effie Awards for the last 5 years, as well as other prestigious festivals such as LIA Awards, Cresta Awards, Círculo Creativo U.S., Círculo Creativo Mexico, Ojo de Iberoamérica, and Grey's Global Creative Council.
Pepe has an MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
